The search is on for Glasgow’s most beautiful garden as part of new awards celebrating our city’s best gardeners.
With garden centres reopening on Monday, the Incorporation of Gardeners of Glasgow has launched The ‘Let Glasgow Flourish’ Gardening Awards 2021 which have been set up to highlight the role gardening has played during the pandemic by encouraging people to get outdoors and the make the most of gardens, allotments and community green spaces.
And three separate awards are open to everyone within Glasgow in the surrounding area including Best Community Garden, Best Young Gardener (age 16 or under) and of course, Glasgow’s Best Garden.
Furthermore, there will be prizes of £250 gardening gift vouchers for each category, while the closing date for entries is Friday, August 6.
