Laura Whitmore has addressed critics of her parenting, after she received concerned comments about her method to keep her baby cool during the current UK heatwave.
The TV presenter posted an Insta pic of a sunny family outing yesterday (1 June), featuring herself and partner Iain Stirling enjoying the warm weather at a park.

Others stepped in to defend Laura. “It’s not a blanket though. A muslin cover/mosquito net to protect the baby,” one said.
“Cue the parenting police,” another wrote, while one person added: “It’s to protect her and don’t tell Laura how to parent.”
Laura herself then spoke out about the criticism, by sharing a screen…
