Israeli fashion designer Dodo Bar Or’s clothing lines have been pulled from luxury shopping platforms today amid a row over ‘cultural appropriating’ outfits and claims she posted an alleged anti-Palestinian video.
Items by the designer were previously categorised and listed for sale on the Net-a-Porter and MyTheresa websites but searches to find them today only return error messages.
It comes after people online called for her to be cancelled as a video which seemingly compares the Free Palestine movement with ISIS appeared to have been posted on her Instagram page.
The clip does not appear on her Instagram page today. Dodo Bar Or is yet to respond to requests for comment on the video.
The controversial clip, which imitates a classic scene from blockbuster film Independence Day, has been slammed by critics as ‘racist’ and ‘Islamophobic’ and appears to have since been deleted by the Dodo Bar Or account.
