A competition has been launched to find a keen gardener in Northampton under the age of 11 who can design a landscaped garden.
Redrow South Midlands, currently building in Devon Way, Moulton Park is searching for a young ‘grow-getter’ as part of its mission to help make a greener environment for future generations to live in.
From floating flower pots and vegetable patches made from upcycled materials, to rainwater-powered lighting fixtures and luxury birdhouses with solar panels to power nearby water features, children are encouraged to unleash their creativity by designing a landscaped garden.
The winner will then receive a personalised planter and gardening kit, while their school will also receive £100 worth of gardening vouchers to create a greener playground.
