Croatia has become the latest nation to indicate it will welcome UK visitors if they have proof of vaccination, a negative Covid-19 test or they have recovered from the virus.
Tourists will also need to produce proof any accommodation is reserved and paid for ahead of entering the country. Tests – either PCR or rapid flow – must be taken within 48 hours of arrival in Croatia.
Any visitor that can prove they have received a vaccine must have been given their second dose at least 14 days before arrival, while confirmation of recovery must be dated within than 180 days.
However, under UK Government guidelines, all non-essential foreign travel is currently outlawed until May 17 at the earliest.
The UK Global Travel Taskforce is also expected to report the results of its review on overseas travel within days. Many tour operators are not scheduled to resume flights and operations until later in the summer.
