In a statement released on Monday, the department outlined that the initiative seeks to spotlight and support emerging enterprises specializing in artificial intelligence (AI), connected and automated mobility (CAM) technology, cyber security, and digital trade solutions from the African continent.
According to the DBT, winning start-ups will be granted access to a tailored program designed to facilitate scaling up and bolstering their operations within the UK. This program will encompass crucial elements such as industry engagements, exclusive VIP events, and expert guidance on business expansion.
