Stäfa (Switzerland), December 15, 2021 – Sonova Holding AG, a leading provider of hearing solutions, announces that as part of medium-term succession planning its Board of Directors will nominate Julie Tay as a new independent Board member for election at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June 2022.
Julie Tay (born in 1966, citizen of Singapore) has served for over eight years in various senior leadership roles at Align Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALGN), including most prominently as Senior Vice President and Managing Director Asia Pacific. Align Technology is a leading global medical device company that designs, manufactures, and sells the Invisalign system of clear aligners, iTero intraoral scanners, and exocad CAD/CAM software for digital orthodontics and restorative dentistry. Prior to that she held various management positions at Bayer Healthcare, JohnsonDiversey and Johnson & Johnson Medical.
