The U’s are without eight first team players as injuries continue to disrupt their start to the season. Alex Gorrin and James Henry are the latest two to join the queue in the treatment room, both waiting for scans on hamstring injuries from the weekend.
Marcus McGuane also hobbled off during the draw with Morecambe and is ruled out with a calf injury, joining Marcus Browne, Yanic Wildschut, Josh Murphy, Sam Baldock and Elliott Moore on the injured list.
Youngsters James Golding and Gatlin O’Donkor are added to the squad to face the Eagles along with midfielder Oisin Smyth.
