The next Pokemon Go Community Day event is about to take place.
The perfect activity for the weekend, Community Day encourages fans to get outside and catch some special Pocket Monsters.
And today’s Community Day is particularly special, because it involves a classic Pokemon.
From 2pm until 5pm UK time on Saturday, January 22, Pokemon Go players have an increased chance of encountering and capturing Bulbasaur.
“Return to the roots of Community Day during the Season of Heritage! As a special treat, we’ll be holding Community Day Classic and bringing back a favorite: Bulbasaur!”
If you manage to evolve Ivysaur (Bulbasaur’s Evolution) during the event or up to two hours after it ends, you’ll get a Venusaur that knows the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant.
Likewise, you’ll have a much better chance of finding and capturing a Shiny Bulbasaur.
Of course, Pokemon Go Community Day events also feature plenty of other bonuses for players.
