Hull ‘DIY’ app developer, February, has raised £250,000 in venture capital funding just a year into its existence.
February, which has already established itself as a leading “no-code” app developer, provides a template-based platform on which businesses can build their own app with the minimum of complexity. It will use the new seed funding from SFC Capital to invest in research and development and operational and customer growth.
February was launched last year by Ash Lewis, CEO, alongside his brother and COO Tom, who had previously worked on labour and cash-intensive app launches in both the UK and Europe.
Ash said: “We started February after identifying a gap in the UK market for a no-code app developer and that the route to that market was quickly achievable with the skills and team we had and were able to pull together.”
