In years past, CES (the Consumer Electronics Show) has been the launch ground for everything from futuristic flying cars to controversial sex toys.

The doors to the event will officially open on Tuesday but press have been given a sneak peek of some products you might see very soon.
Electric skates
Move over electric scooters – French firm Atmos Gear is putting skates in the first line.
The team claims to have created the world’s first electric skates which power up your journey by up to 18mph.
It has a range of up to 16 miles too.
The device sets the middle wheel spinning for that speedy boost for thrill-seekers.
Users must wear a little battery pack around their waist to power it up.
Using a controller you can accelerate, brake and even go backwards.
