Best friends who first displayed their entrepreneurial flair in the playground by selling Chewits and Coca-Cola to classmates at a profit are now the brains behind a unique freelance work app, that has so far offered £10.7 million worth of jobs to students across the UK.
Since launching UniTaskr two years ago, Oliver Jacobs and Joseph Black, both 25, have built a staff of 20 and have 190,000 members on their free app, which connects students with employers ranging from Spotify to the NHS, who pay for skills like digital marketing, design, proofreading and photography.
