UPDATE 3: Fortnite fans have been given more details about the inside of the Mothership.
With the game back online after server maintenance, details are coming in thick and fast about the new gameplay tweaks.
According to Hypex, the new Mothership will deploy UFOs named Abductors, which actually transport players into the inside of the UFO.
UPDATE 2: Fortnite update 17.10 has made big changes to Battle Royale.
Available now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC and Android, the new update introduces Alien Parasites that attach to players and provide mobility boosts.
The Parasites will, however, take away some health, and detach when they come into contact with fire and water.
It’s unclear if the Alien Parasites will launch this week, or if they’ve been added to the game ready for next week’s smaller content update.
Elsewhere, the Recon Scanner marking duration has been reduced from 15 seconds to ten seconds, and takes longer to recharge.
