Activision has announced the details of their upcoming title, Call of Duty: Vanguard with an in-game Warzone event.
The game has been greenlighted to launch on November 5 and will be set during the WWII era.
Activision also announced that Sledgehammer Games will be in charge of developing Vanguard – the studio has previously worked alongside Raven Software on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

According to the Call of Duty: Vanguard announcement page, the game will feature a single-player campaign that spans across “four major theatres of war” as well as an expanded Zombies game mode.
Similar to Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard will have integration with Warzone, Call of Duty’s battle royale title.
“This is the most connected Call of Duty ever, all powered by the next generation Call of Duty engine introduced in Modern Warfare,” according to the announcement page.
