Air fryers, virtual banking, and contactless payments have been voted the top time-saving tech inventions of this century by Brits, according to a survey of 2,000 adults. Instant messaging apps and online appointment booking apps also made the list.
Time-saving tech reportedly frees up just over four hours a week for Brits, equating to more than 220 hours annually. Four out of ten people rely on supermarket self-checkouts to streamline their daily routine, while one in five believe voice-activated assistants are handy for saving precious minutes. Internet shopping, smart meters, and autofill for online forms also made it into the top 10.
