A CHARITY received a generous donation of Christmas gifts for the Royal Bolton Hospital’s children’s ward.
Our Bolton NHS Charity was given an array of gifts including chocolates, soft toys and iPads from a local gaming YouTuber phenomena and his family as a thank you for the excellent care their son received when he was a patient on the ward.
CodeNamePizza, as he’s known on his YouTube channel, asked his 900k followers to help do something nice for the kids on the ward this Christmas.
He created 100 charity cards that were purchased by people from all over the world and the funds raised were used to purchase the iPads and toys.
“We just wanted to show our appreciation for the great care our son received when he was on the children’s ward at the Bolton Hospital,” said a spokesman. “Everyone was so wonderful to him, and us, and we wanted to give something back.”
