What happens when a royally-approved heritage brand collides with one of the most prominent names in the affordable luxury market? When it comes to Barbour’s collaboration with Scandi favourite Ganni, the answer is a sell-out success.
Last year, the two brands released their first co-designed collection, infusing the heritage outerwear of the British stalwart with the bold energy of the Danish fashion darling. Waxed jackets (some original ready-to-wear, some reworked vintage pieces) became playful statement-makers, while co-branded bucket hats were one of the most in-demand accessories of the season.
This winter, Barbour x Ganni returns with a collection of nine new pieces that filter those traditional checks and practical fabrics through the street-style lens. Launching 3 November, the limited-edition line spans jackets, coats, hats and scarves all imbued with those quintessential Ganni details: think bold-type logos, supersized collars and more than a splash of leopard print.
