Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has confirmed significant changes to the sports broadcasting market in the UK and Ireland, with Eurosport being fully integrated under the TNT Sports banner effective February 28, 2025. This transition not only merges the content of both channels but also introduces notable financial impacts for sports fans who will be required to pay more for continued access.
For over three decades, Eurosport has been synonymous with major sporting events, including the Australian Open, the Tour de France, and the Winter Olympics. Notably, as of this integration date, Eurosport’s channels will cease to exist, and all live and non-live content will shift to TNT Sports. This strategic shift has been initiated under the umbrella of WBD’s efforts to streamline their sports offerings.
