WITH all the excitement of Tom Dean winning two gold medals, you might think swimming was Berkshire’s most popular Olympic sport.
But in actual fact, trampolining has been named as the most popular in the county, according to new research.
New data from Better.org has revealed which Olympic sports are the most popular across the UK, with Berkshire being big lovers of Trampolining, mountain biking and skateboarding.

The ranking looks outside of the classic ‘big four’ sports of football, boxing, golf, and rugby, seeking instead to explore the less mainstream sports associated with the huge international sporting tournament being held in Japan this year.
With an average of 2,400 monthly searches, trampolining was Berkshire’s most popular sport, followed by skateboarding with 1,900 searches and mountain biking (1,600 searches).
Other popular sports include tennis, fencing and basketball.
