Ms Jump was working at a dental office just before the pandemic when she found a gap in the cosmetic market. Researching, learning and practicing as much as she could, Ms Jump founded Columbus Cosmetic Ink and earns an extra £5,133 every month.
Ms Jump started her first full-time job days before the pandemic hit in March 2020, working as a marketing coordinator at a dental office with a salary of $34,500 (£25,000).
Soon, she began to notice the sheer amount of bookings for cosmetic services, such as teeth whitening and veneers.
This trend continued during the pandemic, which made her question: why were people spending so much on cosmetic procedures that were going to be hidden behind a mask?
While the mandatory mask stipulations were in place, many people realised just how impactful the upper part of their faces are when it comes to first impressions and conveying expression.
