England is set to lift the final remaining lockdown restrictions which were put in place to combat an alarming spike in Covid-19 cases at the beginning of this year.
The rules were announced by Boris Johnson on Monday 4 January and have been gradually lifting since early in March under a four-stage roadmap.
Step four was originally scheduled for Monday 21 June, but was delayed due to a new surge in infections driven by the new Delta variant which originated in India.
