No new countries were added to the green list at last week’s travel review, while Portugal, the only mainstream holiday destination on the list, was removed.
Holidaymakers have been forced to rush back from Portugal to avoid quarantining, while the likes of Spain, Greece and France remaining on the amber list is a big blow for the travel industry.

It means people are looking ahead to the next travel review to see if they will be able to go abroad this summer.
When is the next travel review?
The Government has said the lists will be updated every three weeks.
The Department for Transport has said: “These regular review points will allow the Government to balance helping the public to understand Covid requirements when travelling to England while allowing us to constantly evaluate the risk for different countries.”
