Nicola Sturgeon has confirmed that Covid travel restrictions in Scotland are to be eased as planned.
In an announcement on Tuesday 13 April the First Minister said that “stay local” instructions for Scots would be eased from Friday 16 April.
This is also the date that people will be allowed to meet in groups of six from up to six different households – a slight acceleration of the existing roadmap.

When can I travel from England to Scotland?
The First Minister confirmed that restrictions would be eased to allow people from other parts of the UK to enter Scotland from Monday 26 April.
Scotland is set to move to a “modified” version of level three restrictions on this date.
Ms Sturgeon said recent data on Covid has been “encouraging” and that this was the main reason the Scottish Government felt able to “accelerate” parts of its lockdown exit plan and remain on schedule for others.
