Josh from JD3DP who has recently also received a special thanks from the Donate for Defib WsM Project after winning the Arts & Culture through Reset WSM.
The award consisted of a trophy presentation of which many companies in Weston supported the event including another proud supporter of Donate For Defib WsM Project, being Weathered Oak – Photography and Videography.
Josh’s mum, Sonia, said: “Josh has Autism, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Tourette’s Syndrome. “Last year he asked for a 3D printer, so I bought him one that he chose with all the filaments and just gave it to him.
“He has basically, self-taught himself all that he knows, he not only downloads paid for files and uses apps like blender to model and then he is able to transfer to his printers, but he also has been designing items from scratch using blender like the DFD items, and many custom orders as well.
“He has also taught himself how to not only maintain his printers but to also repair them and change parts as needed.”
