A four-year-old boy was rushed to Edinburgh’s Royal Hospital for Sick Children after being hit by a car in West Lothian.
At around 6.15 pm on Saturday, 3 April, 2021, the boy was hit by a red coloured Vauxhall Mokka vehicle that was travelling south on Langside Drive, Blackridge.
He remains in Edinburgh’s Sick Kids where he is still being treated for his injuries. Hospital staff say his condition is stable.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the serious incident to come forward as enquiries are still ongoing. The 44-year-old female driver was not physically injured.
