A dog owner is grieving after she witnessed a larger dog maul her dog in a vicious attack.
Snowy the dog died on Friday (January 21), days after what turned into a bloody attack at Harwoods Playground at Vicarage Road, Watford, on Wednesday (January 19).
The owner was walking her Coton de Tulear and two dogs at the park when it ran up to another larger dog, which instantly began to attack Snowy.
According to the distressed owner, the larger dog was biting Snowy– while the attacking dog’s owner was kicking her pet in hopes it would let go of Snowy.
“She couldn’t hold him enough because he was a very big dog,” said the grieving owner.
“It happened so quickly – he just came and was snatched straight away.”
Pictures seen from the Watford Observer confirms that Snowy suffered severe injuries, as his fur was stripped off and much of his flesh was exposed.
