There were a couple of star turns on show at Newcastle’s Heaton Buffs social club back in February 1983.
Newcastle United superstar Kevin Keegan, who’d joined the Magpies six months earlier, and Dunston-born Brian Johnson, lead singer with rock giants AC/DC, met up at the Kevin Keegan Roadshow, a packed talk-in hosted by the Chronicle’s legendary sports reporter, John Gibson.
