A SMALL campsite in England is right by the UK’s best beach – and has a very private place to pitch your tent.
Budle Hall is near Bamburgh Beach, which is often named the best in the country.
While you can stay in the country house, a cheaper alternative if you want to get back to basics is it’s wild camping.
Found on the field just behind the house, there are just three pitches which are a short walk to the beach.
Each one has its own private shower and toilet block, as well as sinks and space for firepits.
One of the pitches is its fully private pitch in its “secret walled garden”.
While it only has a composting loo and cold tap, it offers much more seclusion.
It’s cheaper too, costing £40 a night for one pitch.
