Eamonn Holmes ordered wife Ruth Langsford to ‘stop talking knowledge’ as the two sniped at each other during an unlikely fashion spat over pockets.
As they get well into their stride with their summer stint as main presenters on the ITV daytime show, Eamonn and Ruth had a packed schedule on Thursday, when they were joined by guests including defending Olympic gymnastic champion Max Whitlock and former Blur bassist Alex James.
They were also joined in the studio by model and former Strictly star Lisa Snowdon, who is This Morning’s resident fashion expert.

Top of Lisa’s style agenda on Thursday were summer dresses with pockets, with both she and Ruth waxing lyrical about how much difference a pocket can make to a dress and how handy they were.
But, looking distinctly unimpressed by Ruth’s enthusiasm, Eamonn sniped: “What a lot of nonsense you talk!”
