An East Belfast vintage shop proving that second-hand fashion can be both on trend and sustainable.
As people continue to become more environmentally conscious and the vintage clothing scene across Northern Ireland grows from strength to strength, American Madness on Lena Street has been keeping Belfast stylish in second-hand clothes for over 40 years.
Jon-Joe Rogers know a thing or two about fashion cycles and vintage trends having grown up in his fathers original American Madness store.
Speaking to Belfast Live, he said: “American Madness was founded in 1981 in Belfast by my father.
“The original iteration of AM closed in 1999 but after studying in America I decided to re-start the business when I moved back to Belfast – I grew up in the original American Madness and vintage clothing has always been something my family have been involved with.
