A mindless Larkhall yob who started a fire on a commuter train has been locked up for four months.
The flames damaged a carriage, forcing the driver to shut it down.
Serial offender Jay Gibb, 19, admitted a charge of culpable and reckless fireraising.

Hamilton Sheriff Court heard the fire happened on a Milngavie to Larkhall service around 6pm on September 17 last year.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
Abby Seal, prosecuting, said a passenger alerted the driver when the train arrived at Larkhall a few minutes after Gibb had set fire to a newspaper.
