Another popular PS4 game has been given the big PS5 upgrade treatment this week, adding another title to the next-gen library.
It’s been a busy week for Dauntless, with developers Phoenix Labs launching a brand new update that adds content and brings the game natively to next-gen consoles.
So even if you have played Dauntless before, it might be worth checking the new and improved version on PS5.
The good news is that this is a free download available to PlayStation owners who own a next-gen gaming machine.
One of the most noticeable changes made to the game is the improved load times, with the development team confirming it can run 90% faster than in the past.
And there are also new features available that are exclusive to Dauntless on PS5 and not possible on PS4 or Xbox One.
This includes dynamic adaptive trigger support and integrated sound from the DualSense wireless controller.
You will also able to instantly jump into select hunts from the Activities menu, making for a smooth transition back into the game for anyone who has lapsed in the past.
