Enthusiastic gardeners are preparing to open their gates with pride and invite the public to explore their expertly created landscapes.
Stokesley Open Gardens is back for one weekend only on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 July.
Teessiders can discover the secrets of Stokesley’s best-kept gardens, with the proceeds of the event supporting terminally ill patients at Teesside Hospice.

“Our Stokesley community really come together for this wonderful biennial event, with nature trails, lawn games, ice creams, pizzas, chocolate fountain, scarecrows, beekeepers, bringing together all ages.
“Come and relax and enjoy Pimms, cafes, jazz and buy plants and cakes to take home,” said Julia Haigh, a dedicated volunteer who organised the event.
The public will be given the opportunity to explore 24 of Stokelesy’s most beautiful gardens, some steeped in history behind old alleys and walls, others brand new and redeveloping.
