Stacey Solomon has responded to a fan suggesting that Nick Knowles’ new home improvement show is an ‘exact’ copy of her BBC One programme.
The former DIY SOS presenter, who has been replaced by Rhod Gilbert for an upcoming special, is to star in his own Channel 5 series – Big House Clear Out.
The decluttering show is to air this Thursday, but comes after Stacey’s popular organisation series, Sort Your Life Out – which first aired in April.

A fan of the pair took to Twitter this week to highlight the similarities between the series, questioning: “So, is the new @MrNickKnowles show on @channel5_tv basically exactly the same as the @StaceySolomon Sort Your Life @BBCOne show?
“Mega fun to watch, and I love both presenters, so this should be fabulous.”
Nick boldly replied to the user by retweeting them, highlighting that there are differences.
“Well it’s a very similar subject matter as there are many shows in this field at the moment but I hope you’ll see differences that will make it worth a watch,” he posted.
