The Queen has been forced to give up one of her favourite hobbies in recent months due to health scares in October and November, but she won’t throw in the towel entirely.
Her Majesty was ordered to stop her dangerous horse riding hobby after a brief hospital stay aroused concern in her doctors this autumn.
The Queen, who has been horse riding all her life, is unlikely to be out of the saddle longer than strictly necessary although she’s been asked to refrain for 6 months, The Mirror reported.

A royal source at the time said: “The Queen is sad she can not get out on her horse, which is one of her favourite pastimes, but she is resting and taking every precaution to get back to full fitness.”
They added: “However she is very determined to be back riding as soon as possible and in no way does she feel her riding days are behind her.”
