A Cornish clotted cream producer has been certified for its community initiatives.
Rodda’s has achieved B-Corp status, which is a year-long certification process that recognises high social and environmental standards.
Passionate about supporting local farming families, the producer works with farms that are within a 30-mile radius of the creamery to supply milk.
Each is required to pass their bespoke farm assurance, covering animal welfare to the highest level.
In return they are offered support and advice together with a fair price for their milk.
This sustained investment in the local farming community over the past five years has contributed more than £100 million to Cornwall’s economy.
The creamery continues to work with more than 40 Cornish farming families.
