UPDATE 2: PS5 customers should be on high alert, as PlayStation 5 stock is tipped to drop very soon.
It looks like Argos will draw first blood, and you’ll need to be quick off the mark to hunt down a console today.
“But ICYMI there has been some activity at Argos,” reads a PS5 UK Stock tweet. “We think a drop will be very soon.”

UPDATE: There’s currently no sign of any PS5 restocks for May 6, although reports suggest the Argos app is making changes to its listings.
“Lots of glitches going on in the Argos app for the last 30 minutes,” reads a PS5 UK Stock tweet.
“Flashes of delivery messages, removal of trolley items, move to trolley messages etc. I’m not saying it will drop right now, but they are definitely playing with the listings.”
If there are any stocks today, then it’s likely we’ll see the console make an appearance between 9am and 11am BST.
