Overnight has been fairly quiet on Plymouth roads. Last night tragedy struck when a woman died following an incident involving coastguard helicopter landing at Derriford Hospital.
Some essential roadworks remain in in place that may cause delays to commuters’ travels.
Traffic management site Inrix also warns road users of possible delays later today as fans travel to Plymouth for the Plymouth Argyle v Morecambe football match at Home Park. Kick off is at 3pm.

A spokesman said: “Expect some extra traffic on Outland Road, Alma Road and Wolseley Road.”
It’s been a bit chaotic on Plymouth‘s roads this week thanks to a flurry of road works.
Temporary traffic lights remain in place on the A374 Cumberland Road from Kings Road to Pembroke Street due to gas main work. Motorists and commuters can expect the road work to continue for another month until April 8.
