Plastic bags, cardboard, crisp packets, disposable barbecues and a supermarket trolley have been left behind at a Plymouth beauty spot – and local dog walkers are fuming.
Whilst the occasional bit of rubbish can be found at Plymbridge Woods, locals say the scene of litter this week was worse than ever before, with rubbish and mess strewn across the ground.
A group of dog-walkers have cleared much of the rubbish and are urging any Plymbridge Woods visitors to ‘respect the landscape’ and take all their rubbish home with them.

Local resident Sylwia Wozniak said: “I was so disgusted to find rubbish everywhere! There was even a shopping trolley full of rubbish and (still hot) disposable barbecues.
“It’s so sad to see such a beautiful place being disrespected like that!”
Sylwia told PlymouthLive she’s noticed rubbish at the woods before, but not as much as had been left behind near the waterfalls and car park.
