The search for three sausage dogs that were stolen from Swadlincote still continues a year after they were snatched from their loving families.
Eight dachshunds were stolen in total from the kennels in Burton Road, Swadlincote, 12 months ago. Thankfully five have now been found and are recovering from their terrifying ordeal. But the families and a pet detective involved in the search have vowed to carry on.
However, three are still out there with their owners desperate to get them back home and the search – will not stop until they are reunited with their beloved pets, they say.

The three still missing are Cookie, who has different coloured eyes, which the owners say will make her easier to identify, black and tan Doris and red-coloured Nora.
The two families who own them were left distraught after they were stolen, but they will never give up on getting them home – even all these months on.
