However, one place where people of Asian heritage have not yet seen the dizzying heights of success is in the UK rap scene.
London-born rapper, Wax is looking to be the one that changes all of that.
Wax has been making a name for himself over the last year for his consistent string of anthems and distinctive sound, but another thing that has caught the attention of listeners is his appearance.

“I know that people aren’t really used to seeing an Asian guy rap, but it is what it is,” he laughed.
The upcoming rapper is half-Thai and Vietnamese and grew up in the hustle and bustle of Soho in Central London.
