A FAMILY business is pleased to support a charitable cause close to their hearts with a generous donation to the 2021 Christmas Toy Appeal.
Parkhouse Pet Supplies, based in Dorchester, has provided a very generous donation of £100 to support this year’s Dorset Echo Christmas Toy Appeal – which is on course to raise more than ever before.
Every penny of their donation goes towards buying presents for children in Dorset who may otherwise go without on Christmas Day.
A spokesperson for Parkhouse Pet Supplies said: “We are a local family business trading for 32 years & we are grateful for the opportunity to donate to the Toy Appeal which is close to our hearts.”
Last year the Dorset Echo raised its highest ever amount of £5,432 despite the pandemic, smashing the previous year’s total of £4,933.05.
It’s thanks to generous donations like this from Parkhouse Pet Supplies, that the total is well on course to be smashed again this year.
