Parents have found a savvy solution to the never-ending problem of popped paddling pools.
With inflatable pools puncturing so easily, most families find themselves having to splash out on a new one each summer.
Not only is it expensive, it’s also annoying – and that’s before you’ve even started blowing the bloomin’ thing up.
Fed up with the annual ritual of ‘fingers crossed this one lasts’, parents have started ditching the inflatables in favour of dog pools.
It might sound a bit bonkers, especially if you’ve not even got a dog, but orders have been flooding in for the foldable pet pools from weary mums and dads.
The M.E.N’s Manchester Family tried one out in the recent heat and found it was big enough for the children and Labrador to all enjoy a paddle together.
With no inflating needed, you simply pull it out, get the water in and away you go.
