Parents are charged with child cruelty after leaving their daughter, two, in freezing car while they went on 10 ski runs each at Killington resort in Vermont as temperatures fell to 28F
- Katelynn Brent, 21, of Hudson, NY and Cory Ahern, 29, the parents of the toddler, were charged with cruelty to a child
- Brent was also hit with a drunk driving charge. She her blood alcohol level was .101 percent
- Patrol Officer Michael Hoffman stopped the couple after receiving a tip that a child was left alone in the car in 28 degree weather
- The couple, who work for Killington Resort, used their employee passes to go on 10 runs each on February 8 and claimed that they checked on the child
- The couple is due back in court on Feb. 28
