A nursery where ‘weaknesses in the quality of education affect every child’ has been branded ‘inadequate’ by Ofsted.
The watchdog has awarded the lowest possible rating to All Aboard Nursery, in Stockport, which provides care for more than 50 children aged up to four-years-old.
A scathing report says the day care centre, at Whitfield House, Daw Bank does not ensure children’s care and learning needs are met, or provide ‘engaging and exciting’ opportunities that help youngsters to progress.

The findings have been rejected by the nursery, which is appealing the rating on the grounds it is ‘unfair’ and does not give a ‘true reflection’ of the hard work staff put into the development of children in their care.
It comes after Ofsted visited the service at the end of June, to carry out its first routine inspection since the Covid 19 pandemic.
