Northern Ireland’s very own makeup sensation is determined to break barriers in the industry – just months after smashing the biggest beauty show in the UK.
Craig Hamilton, 24, appeared on this year’s series of Glow Up – which follows beauty experts on their search for Britain’s next star makeup artist (MUA).
10 contestants live and work together, while completing a series of challenges to demonstrate their skills to the judges.
One contestant is sent home each week until the judges crown their winner.
Craig created some incredible looks on the show, and while he remained grateful for the opportunity to learn from big names in the business, it certainly did not come without its challenges.
He said: “When you’re in the moment, it is not easy. You’ve not just got the pressure of succeeding and not getting yourself in the bottom, but you also have the pressure of knowing that everybody’s going to be watching you.
“And for me, this is my career. This puts food on the table, this pays my bills. I don’t want to be seen as a bad makeup artist.
