Two horrified homeowners moved into their new house – only to find the dead body of a 19-year-old man in the freezer. Sources say police were told the body was there, but failed to find it
A dead 19-year-old man was found hidden inside a freezer by the new homeowners – with the victim’s parents now arrested.
Logan Michael Halstead’s body was found decomposed as the new owners cleaned up their new home on Sunday morning. After they were unable to lift the freezer they decided to clear it out – which is when they found a human hand according to Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship.
Now Logan’s parents, Michael Shane Halstead, 44, and Karen Tysinger Halstead, 43, have been arrested, accused of abuse of a corpse, and are being held in jail without bond. It is believed Logan could have been killed all the way back in July or August, the Sheriff said.
