Ethiopian Airlines is set to increase its Manchester to Addis Ababa service to daily flights from July 3.
The airline will add two additional weekly departures on the route enabling passengers to connect to more flights across Africa and the Indian Ocean, including Zanzibar, Mombasa and the Seychelles.
The move grows Ethiopian Airlines’ presence at Manchester Airport, offering travellers from the north of England greater flexibility.
Passengers will benefit from consistent daily options rather than the current reduced weekly schedule.

The expanded service will connect travellers to popular Indian Ocean destinations including Zanzibar, Mombasa and the Seychelles – a bucket list destination for many.
One holidaymaker who visited Anse Coco Beach in the Seychelles said on Tripadvisor: “In our view, it is the most beautiful beach in the world.”
Ethiopian Airlines said it will also offer “seamless” connections to key safari destinations.
