A Reddit user has said their new neighbours are trying to force them to give up beekeeping because their son is highly allergic, and have even attempted to have the hobby banned in their town

That’s the question one Reddit user has been faced with after they discovered their new neighbours aren’t fond of their beekeeping.
The poster explained they’ve been keeping the important pollinators for six years and have four “properly registered” hives which are “legal to keep” in their town.
But they’re now at loggerheads with their new neighbours, who asked them to ditch their hobby because their son is “highly allergic” to bee stings and is at risk of being hospitalised by the insects.
