With the temperatures finally heating up in the UK, and summer holidays abroad on the horizon, many parents will be wanting to take their kids swimming.
There’s nothing better than chilling out in the pool on a hot summer’s day – or even going for a dip in the sea. But when it comes to children, safety is paramount.
And now parents are being warned as they need to check their kids’ swimwear to make sure it’s visible underwater. Kids should be supervised by an adult at all times – but if the worst happens, you need to make sure they’re visible.
Mum-of-two Becky Hailes recently made a TikTok to help other parents be aware that some swimwear colours are more safe than others. She shared a chart, created by Alive Solutions, which showed what certain swimwear colours looked liked above water and below.
